Terms & Conditions
Booking Confirmation
All catering bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or signed quotation. A booking is only secured once the required deposit has been received.
Deposit
A 30% deposit is required to secure the event date and confirm the booking.
Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Final Guest Numbers
Final guest numbers must be confirmed 5 days before the event. After this time numbers cannot be reduced and charges will apply based on the confirmed guest count.
Cancellation Policy
– If cancellation occurs more than 25 days before the event, the deposit will be refunded and 50% of the total booking amount will also be refunded.
– If cancellation occurs within 25 days of the event date, the deposit is non-refundable, and 50% of the remaining balance may be refunded depending on preparation costs already incurred.
Minimum Catering Requirements
Patty’s Place may apply minimum spend requirements depending on event size, location, and service requirements.
Staffing Requirements
Some events may require additional service staff depending on guest numbers, service style, and event duration. Staffing fees may apply where applicable.
Event Duration & Overtime
Catering service times will be agreed upon in advance. If service is required beyond the agreed timeframe, additional staff overtime charges may apply.
Delivery & Travel Fees
Delivery or travel fees may apply depending on the event location. These will be outlined in the quotation where applicable.
Venue Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue provides safe access for catering staff and adequate space for food preparation and service. Access to power, water, and waste facilities may be required depending on the event setup.
Equipment & Hire Items
Any equipment supplied by Patty’s Place, including platters, service equipment, or hired items, remains the property of Patty’s Place and must be returned in the same condition. Replacement or repair costs may apply for damaged or missing items.
Food Safety & Allergens
Patty’s Place prepares food in accordance with NSW food safety regulations. While care is taken, we cannot guarantee food is completely free from allergens including nuts, gluten, dairy, seafood, or eggs. Clients must advise of any severe allergies prior to the event.
Menu Adjustments
Patty’s Place reserves the right to adjust menu items due to seasonal availability or supplier shortages while maintaining comparable quality and value.
Liability
Patty’s Place shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Liability is limited to the value of the catering services provided.
Force Majeure
Patty’s Place shall not be held responsible for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or supply disruptions.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Acceptance of Terms – By accepting a quotation or confirming a booking, the client acknowledges that they have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
